Suzi is a hairstylist with 20 years of experience. She is a great listener who enjoys working with you to stay true to your vision. She is a versatile stylist who is passionate about learning and practicing new techniques. She pays great attention to detail. She loves dry haircuts, razor cuts, dimensional hair color, technical foiling, and lived-in color. She enjoys working with long, thick hair as well as fine, thin hair.

Ashlie has been a hairstylist for 16 years. Her passion is doing blondes, vivid colors and hair extensions. She graduated from MUD in NY. Furthering her education is always a top priority. Ashlie created a hair convention called Revolution Indie Con to help further other hair stylists careers. She is Also the lead educator in the salon and trains the apprentices.

Ruairí

Ruairí Lynn is an experienced beauty artist with over 13 years of industry experience doing hair and makeup. Specializing in curly hair, vivids, and creative makeup, Ruairí is constantly growing an extremely varied skill set, allowing them to tailor a customized beauty ritual to each individual client's needs, based on their unique anatomy, lifestyle, and personal sense of style. Having no desire to be another voice in the beauty industry telling clients what certain face shapes, body sizes, ages or genders can or can't wear, Ruairí is deeply passionate about creating possibilities instead of limits by utilizing good techniques and even better communication.

Allison Gretsuk is our spa manager and lead esthetician. They pursued an education in esthetics at Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in 2018 after starting in the beauty industry as a makeup artist in 2011. Allison is passionate about gender affirming care in our industry and offers experience in just about any aesthetic service you can think of! They are a certified laser tech, skilled skincare expert, licensed cosmetic tattooer, and NALA accredited lash artist. Allison is also a lifelong visual artist and musician, a huge nerd, and pet parent to a rescue greyhound and gaggle of cats. They can’t wait to meet you and bring their unique approach to self care to your services.

I’m Mo Hayes, a stylist in Philly since 2008. I absolutely love working on custom projects, especially in vibrant party colors and stunning platinum blondes. Creating user-friendly haircuts that fit your lifestyle is my jam. I'm passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community, particularly with gender-affirming styles for trans clients. When I'm not at the salon, you can find me hanging out with my dog and cats or belting pop classics during car karaoke. Can't wait to see you in my chair!

Haley has been in the beauty industry for over five years, beginning her journey at Empire Beauty School right in her hometown of Philadelphia. After graduating, she joined the Subculture Hair Studio team, where she trained alongside the salon's original stylists and honed her skills through advanced education and hands-on experience.

Now a Senior Stylist, Haley specializes in balayage, lived-in color, dimensional brunettes, bright and subtle blondes, and customized low-maintenance hair color that grows out beautifully. She also loves creating alternative, textured, and low-maintenance haircuts tailored to each client's personality and lifestyle. Whether you're looking for a soft, natural transformation or a bold new look, Haley is passionate about helping every client leave the salon feeling confident, refreshed, and completely themselves.

Amanda

Amanda Brizzi is a graduate of the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute and after almost a decade in the industry, found her home at Subculture. After struggling for years with her own skin, she has compassion and understanding for every individual stepping into the treatment room. Amanda’s dedication to continuing education, passion for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and over all skincare “nerdiness” are what keep clients coming back over and over again. Amanda is known for her therapeutic facials, detailed eyebrow appointments and getting her clients ready for special events like weddings, vacations and even television appearances. 

Outside of the treatment room, Amanda is a professional singer with Philadelphia’s own Class of ‘84 and was chosen to sing on the main stage at the 2026 MMRBQ with The Circus Hearts, Godsmack and Alice Cooper. In her downtime, she loves traveling with her fiancé, horror movies, reality TV and snuggling up with her tiny house panther.

Mel

Dr. Mel Wolf is the founder of HONEYWOLF Acupuncture, a nationally board-certified, Pennsylvania-licensed acupuncturist, and a creative, curious, slightly weird human who believes healing should feel both grounded and approachable.

 She specializes in TMJ/TMD, jaw pain, headaches, facial tension, stress, and helping people whose bodies have been carrying way too much for way too long.

Using Five Element and Traditional East Asian Medicine, Dr. Mel creates treatments that are personalized, restorative, and focused on addressing the root cause—not just covering up symptoms. Every session is designed to help your body regulate, recover, and feel more balanced.

My name is Rey Llewellyn and I have been doing makeup for brides, photo shoots, film, etc. for 11 years. A linguist turned makeup artist, I graduated from MUD in 2016 to continue my makeup career in special effects. Since then I have won 2nd place in IMATS NY Battle of the Brushes, worked on feature films, New York Fashion Week, and music videos for multiple talents such as Rob Zombie. My passions in the arts are not limited to makeup — I am also a pencil artist, sculptor, and designer. I love movies, video games, nature, and anything weird or unusual!

Devon developed her love of makeup while at West Chester University studying theater where she designed many of the shows. She has now been working as a makeup artist for 10 years and has an eclectic variety of experiences. She loves any opportunity to flex her creativity creating anything from special effects and avant-garde looks to a natural and soft glam for your big event. Her main focus is integrating a client’s natural beauty and unique features to create a final result that makes them feel confident and like the most beautiful version of themselves.

Creativity is in Sam’s blood. Her aesthetic is influenced by her interest in varied aspects of beauty. It started in high school with makeup, Sharpies, and paint, but it wasn’t until a trip to South Korea and her exposure to their skincare market, that she realized she would channel it into a career that she would love. Upon return, she enrolled at Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle, WA. She received her esthetician license in 2013. Sam's favorite (and most popular) service offers Is Eyelash Extensions (especially more dramatic looks or colors). She is certified in classic and volume lashes from JB Lashes. She is also a certified makeup artist from Makeup Forever. In her off time, you can find her immersed in art projects or on the search for Victorian-Era treasures.
